Animate to open largest Kyushu store in Fukuoka Tenjin

Animate is set to host the grand opening of Animate Lachic Fukuoka Tenjin, the largest Animate store in the Kyushu region, on October 24, 2026. Located on the 8th floor of Lachic Fukuoka Tenjin in Fukuoka City, the new facility will feature various promotional events and collaborations.

To celebrate the opening, the store will host a collaboration with the series ‘Bungo Stray Dogs,’ featuring an opening ceremony and talk show with voice actor Kisho Taniyama on the launch day. Additionally, an ‘ART & DESIGN EXHIBITION’ for the series is scheduled to run from November 20 to December 21, 2026, at the adjacent Space Galleria FUKUOKA.

Another major collaboration involves the ‘Tsukiuta.’ series, featuring a talk event with voice actor Kensho Ono. The store has also appointed VTuber Raden Juufuutei from hololive DEV_IS as its grand opening promotional ambassador, with promotional commercials already airing across Animate locations and YouTube.
