ANINF and MITRE Corporation complete cybersecurity training in Libreville
The National Agency for Digital Infrastructure and Frequencies (ANINF), in partnership with the MITRE Corporation, has concluded an advanced cybersecurity training program in Libreville. Eleven participants received certifications following four days of intensive practical exercises.
The training utilized the MITRE ATT&CK framework to strengthen technical teams' ability to respond to cyber incidents. This initiative is part of a two-year partnership between the United States and Gabon, focusing on skills such as analyzing techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP) through the ‘Framework Big Impact’.
According to Arnold Ramondet, ANINF’s information security director, the program aimed to test and enhance technical response capabilities under realistic conditions. The session included a ‘Capstone’ style training, featuring a national cybersecurity exercise and incident response simulations.
