ANINF conducts cybersecurity simulation for Gabonese administrations

The National Agency for Digital Infrastructures and Frequencies (ANINF) conducted a national cybersecurity exercise on September 11, 2026, to test the resilience of Gabonese administrations. The simulation placed various government entities in a crisis scenario involving a simulated cyberattack to evaluate their ability to detect, analyze, and contain digital threats.

The exercise aimed to move beyond theoretical training by forcing teams to manage real-time challenges, such as coordinating responses and maintaining operational services during an incident. ANINF stated that the goal was to identify flaws in response chains, such as coordination difficulties or reaction delays, to correct them before a real attack occurs.
