Anis Kalajdžić's murder trial in Mostar faces accusations of witness intimidation

During six court hearings in Mostar, prosecutors have charged former football referee Anis Kalajdžić with the brutal murder of Aldina Jahić. The Jahić family’s lawyer, Damir Alić, and the Aldina Jahić Foundation allege that Kalajdžić behaved scandalously toward witnesses, asking irrelevant questions without showing any remorse or empathy. They describe his conduct as “cold and callous,” urging the court to impose the maximum penalty of 45 years imprisonment.

Aldina Jahić was killed in November of the previous year after an altercation with Kaljic, who shot her multiple times as she tried to hide in a restaurant bathroom. The next hearing is scheduled for the end of August.
