Ankara Metropolitan Municipality launches youth technology workshop

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has launched a Technology, Robotics, and Engineering Workshop at the Meteorology Student Station. The initiative aims to equip young people with practical skills in science and technology, moving them from being mere consumers of technology to creators and innovators.

The workshop provides access to advanced tools, including 3D printers, robotic arms, electronic equipment, and design computers. Participants engage in hands-on learning covering 3D modeling, robotic coding, mechanical systems, and product development. The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom concepts and real-world industry practices.

In addition to technical training, the program includes courses on entrepreneurship. Students work alongside volunteer instructors to develop projects such as mechanical prototypes, electronic devices, and custom-designed objects using equipment like Arduino kits, sensors, and motors.
