Turkey traffic accidents result in multiple fatalities

Two separate fatal traffic accidents in Turkey have resulted in multiple casualties.

In Diyarbakır's Lice district, a minibus carrying passengers to an engagement ceremony overturned on the Lice-Kulp highway. The accident resulted in five deaths and 11 injuries, with three individuals reported to be in serious condition. Local authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the rollover.

In a separate incident on the Ankara-Eskişehir highway in the Sincan district, a collision occurred between a minibus and a truck. This accident claimed the lives of three people, including 29-year-old teacher Medine Efeoğlu Doğan, who had recently married and was preparing to begin a new assignment in Muş. The other victims were identified as Mutlucan Özbayrak, 32, and Mihriban Yılmaz, 57. Approximately 24 to 25 people were injured in the Ankara collision.
