Anna Diamantopoulou claims PASOK answered Alexis Tsipras' criticism
Anna Diamantopoulou, a member of PASOK’s Political Council, told Mega TV’s programme “Koinonia Ora” that the party must shift its focus from opinion polls to concrete opposition work inside the parliament, highlighting pressing social and economic issues. She said PASOK’s agenda is defined by continuous criticism of the government and by presenting serious policy proposals.
Diamantopoulou also responded to Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, arguing that PASOK has no outstanding private debt, has repaid its loans and receives state subsidies, whereas Tsipras’ party benefits from a costly multinational campaign. She demanded transparency about the financing of Tsipras’ party and warned that PASOK will not leave any question unanswered, especially regarding integrity and government accountability.
