Anna Foglietta to present directorial debut in Scicli

Director and actress Anna Foglietta will present her directorial debut, “Una Storia,” at the Nuovo Cineteatro Italia in Scicli on Saturday, October 17. Following the screening, Foglietta will participate in a dialogue with Marianna Triberio and engage in a Q&A session with the audience.

Starring Alba Rohrwacher and Guido Caprino, “Una Storia” is an intimate drama exploring the lives of Erika and Mauro, a provincial couple whose stable routine is disrupted when their daughter leaves to study far from home. The film examines how the resulting emptiness forces the couple to confront long-hidden vulnerabilities and re-evaluate their relationship and individual identities.
