Warsaw court hears Cichopek defamation lawsuit against Smaszcz

A court hearing took place at the Sąd Okręgowy Warszawa-Praga regarding a lawsuit filed by actress Katarzyna Cichopek against Paulina Smaszcz for infringement of personal rights. The proceedings were held behind closed doors.

Anna Mucha and Maciej Kurzajewski appeared as witnesses. Following the hearing, Kurzajewski addressed the media, denying claims that Cichopek was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage to Smaszcz. He characterized Smaszcz's previous statements as lies and asserted that his relationship with Cichopek only began in 2022, after his divorce was finalized.

Anna Mucha also provided testimony regarding how Smaszcz's public statements may have impacted the private and professional lives of those involved. While Smaszcz was not present in person, she was represented by legal counsel.
