Anna Vissi performs historic sold-out concert at OAKA

Greek singer Anna Vissi performed a massive, sold-out concert at the Olympic Stadium (OAKA) in Athens, drawing between 90,000 and 95,000 attendees. Despite rain, the four-hour production featured a high-tech 360-degree stage designed by Stufish Entertainment Architects and included a visual segment using AI to show Vissi interacting with her 17-year-old self.

A highly emotional moment occurred when Vissi paid tribute to the late singer George Mazonakis, who passed away in September. She performed his favorite song, ‘To Treno’, and spoke of him as someone who ‘was born to be loved’. The event also featured guest appearances, including guitarist Orianthi and a dedication to Nikos Karvelas.

Logistically, the massive crowd required significant transport coordination, with approximately 35,000 passengers using the Athens Metro Line 1 to depart the stadium late at night.
