ANO leads Czech parliamentary election poll, Median predicts

A new election model from the Median agency predicts that the ANO movement would clearly win the upcoming elections for the Chamber of Deputies with 34 percent of the vote. Following ANO, the STAN movement is projected to receive 12 percent, while the ODS party follows closely with 11 percent.

Other parties expected to enter the Chamber include the SPD with 9 percent and the Pirates with 7.5 percent. The Motorists party and the Communist Party are projected to fall short of the necessary 5 percent threshold, receiving 4.5 percent each. Among former coalition members, only the ODS is expected to secure seats, as TOP 09 and KDU-ČSL are projected to receive 4 percent and 3.5 percent respectively.

The model indicates that while ANO would secure 93 parliamentary seats, it would still require at least one coalition partner to form a majority. Analysts noted that due to high levels of voter uncertainty, predicting which parties near the 5 percent threshold will successfully enter parliament remains difficult.
