ANO movement files complaint regarding election results in Uherský Hradišt

The ANO movement has filed a formal complaint regarding the municipal election process in Uherský Hradišt, requesting a recount of votes in three specific electoral districts: numbers 1, 6, and 13.

According to party representative Jana Grygarová, the movement suspects that certain ballots were not counted in district 13, errors were made by a commission member in district 6, and a successful candidate received no votes in district 1 despite widespread support for the party list in that area.

Despite the complaint, a potential shift in mandates is not expected to disrupt the already agreed-upon municipal coalition. The local election results saw the Hradišťáci movement win eight mandates, followed by ANO and the Civic Democrats and Independent Personalities with five mandates each. A coalition between Hradišťáci, ANO, and the Civic Democrats has already been formed for the 2026–2030 term, controlling 18 of the 27 seats in the city council.
