Anorthosis prepares for derby against APOEL

Anorthosis Famagusta is preparing for an upcoming derby against APOEL at the Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium. Following two initial losses against AEL and Apollon, the club aims to secure its first victory of the season. Spokesperson Charalambos Parpettas noted that while results have been disappointing, the team is showing visible improvement in performance and technical capability.

Regarding squad availability, Anorthosis will be without Van Nieff due to suspension and Bergstrom due to a heel injury. However, player Furtado is expected to be available for selection. The club also anticipates a strong fan presence for the match, which will feature newly installed stadium screens to enhance the spectator experience.

Additionally, representatives from Freedom, led by President Rokhus Shokh, are currently in Cyprus. The delegation has visited the club's academies and training facilities and met with executive officials, including Managing Director Giannis Maniati, ahead of the derby.
