Ansan City finalizes 120 detailed tasks for 9th term administration

Ansan City has finalized its administrative vision for the 9th popularly elected term, titled ‘Ansan, a Free Innovation City Together with Citizens.’ The plan consists of five major sectors, 100 pledges, and 120 detailed tasks.

The five strategic areas include: citizen-centered administration, high-tech innovation, welfare and culture, future education, and a pleasant transportation environment. Key initiatives include attracting Hanyang University Hospital, establishing an advanced medical complex, designating the Ansan Science Valley (ASV) as an economic free zone, and implementing AI conversion at the Banwol National Industrial Complex.

Social and infrastructure projects include supporting youth rental housing, expanding welfare for the disabled, and pursuing the fast-track undergrounding of Line 4. The city estimates a total investment of approximately 8.022 trillion KRW to fulfill these pledges, utilizing national, provincial, and municipal funds alongside private capital. Mayor Lee Min-geun stated that the city will establish thorough execution plans and continue to collect citizen feedback to ensure successful implementation.
