Ansan City holds forum to discuss future youth policies

Ansan City held the ‘2026 Ansan Youth Policy Forum’ on the 17th, gathering approximately 100 young residents to discuss the city's future. Marking the 40th anniversary of the city's establishment, the event aimed to involve youth as active participants in regional planning rather than mere policy beneficiaries.

The forum was divided into two parts: a ‘Youth Empathy Talk’ and a ‘Youth Roundtable Discussion.’ Participants shared views on local living conditions and the effectiveness of current policies. Mayor Lee Min-geun stated that the city intends to use the suggestions made during the forum as foundational data to improve existing projects and develop future youth-centered policies.
