Ansan City launches 2026 Citizen Idea Contest

Ansan City has announced the launch of its ‘2026 Citizen Idea Contest’ to gather creative suggestions for municipal administration. The initiative aims to discover feasible policies that residents can experience in their daily lives and to expand opportunities for civic participation in local governance.

The contest focuses on five key administrative goals: creating a citizen-centered city, an advanced innovative city, a welfare and culture city, a future education city, and a transportation-friendly environment. Proposals that offer unique solutions compared to other local governments are also encouraged.

Participation is open to all Ansan citizens, as well as students attending schools or employees working within the city, even if they are not registered residents. Submissions are accepted via email or mail until the 23rd. Winners will receive certificates and prize money of up to 1 million won, depending on the quality of the proposal.
