Ansan City to host Ansan Festa 2026 featuring seven festivals

Ansan City will host ‘Ansan Festa 2026’, an integrated autumn festival, from October 23 to 25 at Hwarang Park and the Ansan Arts Center. Now in its third year, the event consolidates various local celebrations into a single brand covering culture, arts, sports, food, and lifelong learning.

The festival includes seven major events: the 7th Kim Hong-do Festival, Lifelong Learning Festival, Ansan Food Culture Festival, Ansan Mayor's Danwon Kim Hong-do Ssireum (traditional wrestling) Tournament, Disability Welfare Fair, Urban Agriculture Festival, and the Resident Autonomy Village Community Fair.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ansan's city status, special activities such as a communal rice cake making event will be held. The Kim Hong-do Festival will offer Joseon-era cultural experiences, including traditional performances, tea ceremonies, and hanbok experiences. Musical performances are scheduled throughout the event, featuring artists such as Lee Chan-won and Oh Hye-bin, concluding with a fireworks display on the final day.
