Antalya corruption probe: Indictment names 21 suspects

An indictment has been accepted by the Antalya 3rd High Criminal Court regarding an investigation into the Antalya Water and Sewerage Administration (ASAT) and the municipal subsidiary ALDAŞ. The 127-page document names 21 suspects, including Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, who was removed from office following his arrest, as well as former ASAT and ALDAŞ executives.

The investigation includes allegations of attempting to exert influence over Sayıştay (Court of Accounts) auditors. Telephone records cited in the indictment reveal conversations between ASAT personnel discussing the arrival of auditors and making comments suggesting that certain individuals could ensure the audit process was resolved favorably.
