Antalya Natural Life Park rehabilitates injured wildlife

The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality’s Natural Life Park operates a fully equipped clinic that provides veterinary care to injured or orphaned baby birds and mammals found in the wild. Species treated include eagles, starlings, swallows and a stork, all of which are fed, monitored and nurtured by veterinarians and veterinary technicians.

Director Dr. Veterinarian Aygül Arsun said the staff “treat these animals like our own children,” adding that after about two weeks of care the animals are released back into their natural habitats.
