Antares launches AutoTune Advanced pitch-correction plugin
Antares Audio Technologies has released AutoTune Advanced, a new flagship pitch-correction plugin featuring a significant rebuild of its core algorithm. A central component of the update is the patent-pending DVA engine, designed to detect and preserve a singer’s natural vibrato rather than correcting it. The software includes a real-time vibrato visualizer and a Vibrato FX tool that can generate vibrato using various wave types if a performance lacks it.
The plugin introduces a Live mode for real-time monitoring, reporting latency as low as 0.84 ms at 44.1 kHz. Users can also choose between Low Latency mode for tracking and High Quality mode for mixing. Additional features include an updated Formant Designer, a custom scale workflow, a 78-note Visual Keyboard, and MIDI Perform capabilities. AutoTune Advanced is available via a perpetual license or through the AutoTune Unlimited subscription.
