Antares release of AutoTune Advanced software
Overview
Antares Audio Technologies has released AutoTune Advanced, a rebuilt version of its flagship pitch-correction software. The update features a redesigned Auto-Mode pitch algorithm and introduces the patent-pending DVA vibrato engine, which is designed to “identify and preserve a singer’s natural vibrato” to prevent flattening during correction.
The software includes a Creative Vibrato FX panel to generate or adjust vibrato using various waveshapes, alongside a real-time visualizer. For performance and studio use, the plugin offers a Live Mode with latency reported as low as 0.84 ms at 44.1 kHz, as well as dedicated High Quality and Low Latency modes. Other updates include a refreshed Formant Designer, a 78-note visual keyboard, a custom scale workflow, and MIDI Perform capabilities. The software is available through a perpetual license or the AutoTune Unlimited subscription.
