Antares launches AutoTune Advanced with new DVA vibrato engine
Antares has released AutoTune Advanced, a rebuilt version of its flagship pitch correction software. The update features a ground-up redesign of the Auto-Mode pitch algorithm and introduces the DVA vibrato engine.
The DVA technology is designed to identify and preserve a singer’s natural vibrato, preventing the flattening effect often caused by aggressive pitch correction. Users can also use the Creative Vibrato FX panel to reduce, boost, or generate artificial vibrato using various waveshapes, such as sine, square, sawtooth, and triangle.
Additional features include a real-time visualizer for tracking vibrato shaping and a new Live Mode with latency under 1 ms for real-time monitoring. The software also offers High Quality and Low Latency modes for mixing and studio work. Other updates include a refreshed Formant Designer, a new workflow for custom scales, and a 78-note visual keyboard.
