Anthony Di Nardo denied court bid to resume real estate work

Anthony Di Nardo has failed in a legal bid to resume work as a real estate agent while awaiting an appeal regarding his licence suspension. The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) refused his application for a stay of the suspension.

In May, NSW Fair Trading suspended Di Nardo’s licence until July next year, determining he was not a ‘fit and proper person’ to hold the credential. The decision followed an investigation under the Property and Stock Agents Act, which found Di Nardo had engaged in ‘a pattern of inappropriate behaviour’ while acting in a position of authority.

The suspension has prevented Di Nardo from launching a new brand, Prestige Real Estate Agent. The matter is now proceeding to an appeal hearing.
