Antofagasta hosts Business Roundtable to Launch 2026 Mining Month
A business roundtable will be held on Thursday, 6 August in Antofagasta, Chile, to mark the official start of the country’s main mining celebration, the Mining Month 2026. Organized by the Antofagasta Industrial Association (AIA) together with the Ministry of Mining and the regional government, the event will take place in the Salón Pacífico of the Hotel Antofagasta and will be split into two meeting blocks (09:00‑13:00 and 15:00‑18:00).
The forum aims to connect supplier companies with major mining, energy and industrial firms, fostering innovation, competitiveness and regional production chains. AIA president Marko Razmilic said face‑to‑face encounters remain “an irreplaceable tool for building trust, discovering new capabilities and establishing long‑term relationships.” Participation is limited and registration is already open.
The roundtable will bring together representatives from leading firms such as CODELCO, SQM, BHP, Antofagasta Minerals and many others, offering a platform for B2B meetings, networking and potential collaborations that support sustainable growth in the Antofagasta region.
