Anyang City to host 2026 Architecture Festival in September
Anyang City, in collaboration with the Anyang Regional Architecture Association, will host the ‘2026 Anyang Architecture Festival’ from September 1 to 6. Held at the Kim Chung-up Architecture Museum in Manan-gu, the festival is themed ‘Architecture, Connecting People and Space’.
The event features a variety of programs designed to make architecture accessible to the public, including exhibitions of award-winning works, architectural tours of Jungang Cathedral and the Kim Chung-up Architecture Museum, and hands-on activities such as 3D building making and drawing contests for students. A formal opening ceremony and the Architecture Culture Award ceremony are set for the afternoon of September 5.
Professional development is also a key component, with sessions covering the practical application of AI in architecture and lectures on urban regeneration. While most exhibitions are free to the public, certain programs like the architectural tours and the ‘Architecture Golden Bell’ quiz require prior registration through the official festival website.
