Cultural festivals in Anyang City

Overview

Anyang City has announced two major cultural events scheduled for late 2026.

In early September, the city will host the ‘2026 Anyang Architecture Festival’ at the Kim Chung-up Architecture Museum. Themed ‘Architecture, Connecting People and Space’, the festival includes exhibitions, architectural tours, and professional development sessions regarding urban regeneration and the use of AI in architecture.

Following this, the 8th Anyang Public Art Project (APAP8) will run from late September through November. Under the theme ‘ArteX: Art Transformation’, the project aims to integrate media art, sculpture, and architecture within public spaces such as Anyang Art Park and Pyeongchon Hakun Park. The initiative includes immersive media art installations, outdoor sculpture displays, and community-focused programs including workshops and flea markets.
