Aomori National Sports Festival: Hockey and gymnastics results announced

The 80th National Sports Festival, known as the ‘Ao no Kirameki Aomori Kokuspo,’ is currently holding pre-period competitions in Aomori Prefecture.

In the men's adult hockey competition, Saga Prefecture's team secured 5th place after losing 2-3 to Kagawa in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the Tochigi Prefecture youth men's hockey team finished in 4th place.

Other notable results include Yoko Sakaguchi placing 5th in the women's adult Canadian single canoe slalom, and the women's adult gymnastics team earning 6th place with a score of 190.059. In sailing, Kenji Nanri maintained the lead in the men's adult ILCA 7 class through the fourth race.
