APAF Gala honors Portuguese football and futsal referees

The IV Gala of the Portuguese Association of Football Referees (APAF) was held at the Casino da Figueira da Foz to honor key figures in football, futsal, and beach soccer for the 2025/2026 season. The ceremony recognized over 80 referees, assistant referees, and observers from both district and national levels, including international officials.

Several regional associations received recognition. The Bragança Football Association saw six members honored, including Nuno Augusto and Lília Martins in football, João Nunes and Susana Rodrigues in futsal, and Diogo Lapa and Ana Choupina in beach soccer. Additionally, Delfim Izeda and Frederico Gil were recognized as observers.

The Henrique Silva Football Referees Nucleus (NAFHS) from Vila Real also had three members distinguished: Miguel Durão for futsal refereeing, Vítor Santos as a futsal observer, and André Gomes as a football observer.
