Portuguese sports recognition and awards
Overview
In October 2026, various Portuguese sports organizations were recognized for their contributions to the sporting community.
The Portuguese Association of Football Referees (APAF) held its IV Gala to honor over 80 referees, assistant referees, and observers across football, futsal, and beach soccer for the 2025/2026 season. Notable honorees included members from the Bragança Football Association and the Henrique Silva Football Referees Nucleus.

Other regional entities, including Sporting Clube Farense and Clube Desportivo e Recreativo Quarteirense, received honorable mentions for their sports-related projects and youth departments.
