Apartment fires injure victims in Kristiansund and Bamble, Norway

A fire broke out in an apartment in Kristiansund on Wednesday afternoon. Smoke was observed and emergency crews, including fire and rescue teams, entered the building. Police reported that two people were inside; one was exposed to smoke and examined by ambulance staff. The fire was extinguished, no open flames remained, and ventilation was ongoing.

In Bamble, a man in his 60s was critically injured by a separate fire and was taken to Haukland Hospital for treatment. Police conducted a site investigation and have arrested a man in his 30s as part of the probe into the incident.
