Apple Arcade launches exclusive Madden NFL 27 edition

Apple Arcade will add an exclusive version of Madden NFL 27 on 6 August 2026. The release includes both Franchise and Quick Play modes, updated NFL teams and player ratings, and support for Apple controllers across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The game is offered without advertisements or in‑app purchases, requiring only an active Apple Arcade subscription.

The launch coincides with a broader expansion of sports titles on the platform, including Retro Bowl College+ on the same day, a scheduled NFL Retro Bowl ’27 update for 3 September, and updates to NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and PGA TOUR Pro Golf. A full console and PC version of Madden NFL 27 is slated for 13 August 2026, a week after the Apple Arcade debut.
