Apple iPhone 18 Pro price hike leads to analyst downgrade and T‑Mobile financing plan
GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu, who earlier said Apple could keep the iPhone 18 Pro price stable, now predicts a $250‑$300 increase, pushing the base price to roughly $1,349‑$1,399. He downgraded Apple’s stock from “buy” to “hold,” citing uncertainty about demand at the higher price point.
In response to the anticipated price rise, T‑Mobile announced a new three‑year financing option called EIP Flex 36. The plan offers qualified customers 0% interest and no upfront cost, allowing the cost of the iPhone 18 Pro, taxes and fees to be spread over 36 months.
