Apple has announced the opening of Apple Music Hall, a new state-of-the-art live music venue located within the Battersea Power Station in London. The venue, which sits near the company’s UK headquarters, is designed to host intimate performances for up to 600 people.

The facility is built to bridge the gap between small-scale intimacy and high-end production. It features a 38-foot-wide stage that can be reconfigured for traditional front-facing setups or in-the-round experiences. The hall is equipped with a 48-speaker spatial sound system and is hardwired for at least 16 cameras to facilitate high-quality video capture and global livestreams.

Behind the stage, the venue includes two professional recording and mixing studios, allowing artists to capture multitrack recordings and produce Spatial Audio mixes during or after their performances. Additionally, the site will house new studios for Apple Music Radio, which will broadcast its London-based shows from the Battersea complex.
