Apple opens Apple Music Hall in London's Battersea Power Station
Apple has opened the Apple Music Hall, a state-of-the-art live music and broadcast venue located within London’s historic Battersea Power Station. The 600-capacity venue is designed to bridge the gap between intimate club settings and high-end arena production values.
The facility features advanced technical infrastructure, including a 48-speaker spatial audio system, two dedicated recording and mixing studios, and a multi-camera setup with at least 16 camera positions. This allows for high-quality live recordings and global livestreams. The venue also includes a new studio for Apple Music Radio.
Sir Elton John is scheduled to perform on the opening night, September 28. The initial lineup of performers includes Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks, Burna Boy, Chase & Status, and Charli XCX. The stage is 38 feet wide and can be reconfigured for various performance styles, such as traditional front-facing or in-the-round setups.
