Apple releases Apple Watch Series 12 with enhanced health sensors

Apple has released the Apple Watch Series 12, featuring a redesigned Health Sensing System. Key updates include heart rate measurements taken every five seconds throughout the day, more frequent HRV sampling, and new features such as Readiness and enhanced Vitals.

While the device offers improved heart-rate tracking and fast charging, the physical design remains largely unchanged from previous generations, and battery life continues to be a limitation. The 42mm aluminium model launched on 18 September 2026 with a starting price of $399, £369, €449, or A$649. Higher-end titanium and ceramic versions are also available.
