Apple reveals iPhone 18 Pro battery capacities via EU disclosures

Due to new European Union regulations requiring energy labels and product information sheets, Apple has disclosed the specific battery capacities for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The iPhone 18 Pro features a 4,056 mAh battery, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max contains a 5,391 mAh battery. These figures apply to models equipped with a physical SIM tray. In markets such as the United States, Japan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, Apple sells eSIM-only variants that utilize the space previously occupied by the SIM tray to house larger batteries.

Compared to the previous generation, the Pro Max saw an 11.8 percent increase in capacity. Apple indicates that these batteries are designed to retain at least 80 percent of their original capacity after 1,000 charge cycles. The devices also support faster wired charging, capable of reaching 50 percent charge in approximately 15 minutes.
