Apple rolls out macOS Tahoe 26.6 with 150+ security patches
Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.6 (build 25G72) for all compatible Macs. The update addresses more than 150 security vulnerabilities across critical components such as the kernel, graphics drivers, APFS file system and network stacks, and adds new kernel extensions and a refreshed software signing certificate.
In addition to the security work, the update reindexes Spotlight in advance of the forthcoming macOS 27 Golden Gate, aiming to speed up the transition and support new Siri and Apple Intelligence features. The update is available through System Settings → General → Software Update.
