Apple Sports expands football coverage with seven new leagues

Apple has released version 4.3 of its Apple Sports app, significantly expanding its football coverage by adding seven new leagues. This update brings the total number of supported football leagues to 14 within a single month.

The newly integrated competitions include the Turkish Süper Lig, the Saudi Pro League, the English Women’s Super League, the Spanish Liga F, the Austrian Bundesliga, the Greek Super League, and the Indian Super League.

Exclusive to iPhone and Apple Watch users, the app provides real-time scores, detailed match statistics, standings, and upcoming fixtures. The update also leverages Live Activities to allow users to track match developments directly from their lock screens. The app remains a centralized hub for various sports, including the NBA, NFL, and Formula 1.
