Dark Matter season 2 premieres on Apple TV

The second season of the science fiction series ‘Dark Matter’ is set to premiere on Apple TV on Friday, August 28. Based on the novel by Blake Crouch, the ten-episode season will release weekly through October 30.

Returning leads include Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly, alongside Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, and others. The new season follows the characters as they navigate the multiverse, dealing with the consequences of their previous journey and attempting to find stability amidst growing paranoia and external threats.

While Apple TV has not officially renewed the series for a third season, executive producer Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry noted that the show was originally designed as a trilogy. The production team expressed hope for a third season to provide a complete conclusion to the story.
