By late September, the second season earned a “certified fresh” rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. The fifth episode, “Love and Be Loved,” released on 25 September 2026, is a “character-driven, quiet installment” focusing on a different Jason variant who encounters his mother in a reality where he died as a teenager.
