Apple Watch Ultra 4 introduces S11 chip and new health features

The Apple Watch Ultra 4 maintains a starting price of $799, identical to the Ultra 3. The device features a 49mm titanium body available in natural or black finishes, and is only 1.5 grams heavier than its predecessor.

Under the hood, the Ultra 4 utilizes the new S11 chip, which enables advanced AI and health capabilities not found in the S10-equipped Ultra 3. Key upgrades include a holistic readiness score that rates a user's physical state on a scale of 0 to 10, and improved step tracking accuracy through machine-learning algorithms.

Future software updates to the iPhone Health app are expected to introduce a Longevity tab for evaluating 'Health Age,' as well as tests for balance, flexibility, and strength. Additionally, the ecosystem will allow users to integrate lab data from Quest Diagnostics for a fee of $119.
