Apple Watch updates feature new gestures and hardware improvements
Apple has introduced new gesture-based functionalities for the Apple Watch, specifically a wrist-turning motion that allows users to dismiss notifications, silence incoming calls, stop timers, close apps, and return to the watch face. This feature is designed to provide hands-free convenience, particularly when the user's other hand is occupied.
Additionally, comparisons between the original Apple Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 highlight significant hardware improvements. The Ultra 4 features a brighter display with up to 3000 nits of peak brightness and approximately 5 percent more screen surface due to thinner bezels. Battery life has also seen an increase, with the Ultra 4 offering up to 50 hours of use compared to the 36 hours provided by the original model. The newer version also supports faster charging and enhanced GPS tracking modes for athletes.
