Apucarana launches fiscal incentive program with R$ 200,000 in prizes

The city government of Apucarana has launched ‘Cidadão Bom de Nota’, a fiscal citizenship program designed to encourage the issuance of service invoices. The initiative aims to increase tax compliance by rewarding consumers who request their CPF be included on service documents.

Between September 2026 and the end of 2027, the program will distribute over R$ 200,000 in prizes. The prize pool includes R$ 73,500 in cash, one zero-kilometer hatch car valued at approximately R$ 90,000, and two motorcycles valued at R$ 22,000 each.

Winners will be determined through 16 draws based on the Brazilian Federal Lottery (Loteria Federal). The schedule includes monthly draws in late 2026, with a special Christmas draw on December 23, 2026. The largest prizes, including the car, are scheduled for August and December 2027.
