Municipalities in Brazil implement diverse local public service initiatives

Various municipal initiatives across Brazil are focusing on public service improvements, education, and community safety. In Feira de Santana, health officials confirmed that patients can schedule medical appointments in person at health units to assist those facing technological barriers with the Mais Saúde app.

In the realm of disaster preparedness, Pranchita's social assistance team underwent training for emergency response, while Nova Iguaçu graduated 39 women from a resilience and disaster prevention course. Educational programs are also expanding, including the Samuzinho project in Apucarana (noted as a separate initiative), nutritional awareness through the “food traffic light” in Salvador, and the “Vamos Brincar!” program in Marília.

Infrastructure and security updates include the progress of the R$ 180 million Sisal Regional Hospital in Bahia, the delivery of a new school in Carapicuíba, and the provision of new security kits for the São Mateus Municipal Guard. Additionally, cultural and technological development continues with the resumption of art classes at Goiânia's Centro Livre de Artes and computer workshops for youth in Ubatuba.
