Apucarana reports thefts of event data and industrial equipment
Apucarana has experienced two significant criminal incidents involving the theft of equipment.
In the city center, a man was caught on security footage breaking into a parked Volkswagen Polo. The thief stole a backpack containing two notebooks, bank cards, personal documents, and a ticket sales machine. The stolen notebooks contained critical operational data for the ‘Arraiá dos Gordinhos’ event scheduled for Saturday, potentially complicating its organization.
Separately, a martial arts apparel factory in the Zona Oeste Industrial Park was targeted in a large-scale theft. Criminals stripped the facility of 59 industrial sewing machines, 25 motors, and four temperature inverters. The perpetrators also stole more than 3.4 kilometers of electrical wiring, circuit breakers, and ten hydraulic valves. The Military Police have registered the cases, and investigations are ongoing to identify the suspects.
