Aquakoï manager reacts after four arrests in koi carp theft

Four individuals have been arrested following the theft of over 230 exceptional koi carp from the Aquakoï company in Cauffry, France. The theft, which occurred during the night of July 30 to July 31, resulted in an estimated loss of more than 80,000 euros.

Following an investigation by the Clermont and Liancourt gendarmerie brigades, authorities identified the suspects, including a father and son. During searches, police seized 56 of the stolen koi carp, 14,800 euros in cash, a Citroën Jumper vehicle, four mobile phones, and four rifles. Prosecutor Nicolas Septe of the Beauvais judicial court confirmed the findings, noting that the recovered fish had been released.
