ARA Libertad video shows woman appearing to vanish

A video captured during a television broadcast on the Argentine training ship ARA Libertad has gone viral after a female naval officer appears to vanish from view. The footage was recorded by the broadcaster Todo Noticias (TN) as the vessel returned to Buenos Aires following a five-month training voyage.

During the interview, the officer speaks with a reporter before walking behind a man standing nearby. As the camera follows her movement, she does not emerge on the other side, creating the illusion that she has disappeared. The reporter involved stated he did not see the woman walk past the man and described the moment as though she had ‘literally vanished.’

While some social media users have characterized the clip as a ‘glitch in the matrix,’ others suggest the effect is a result of camera angles and the woman’s specific movement. The television crew has indicated that the footage was unedited.
