The SOMOS LGTB+ de Aragón association has denounced the removal of a specific subsidy line for LGTBI individuals and their families in the regional government's latest equality and non-discrimination funding call for 2026 and 2027.

Previously, a specific allocation of 161,000 euros supported programs including in-person assistance, legal rights information, and social awareness projects. The association warns that the disappearance of this funding line represents a significant setback for institutional commitment to sexual and gender diversity, creating uncertainty for programs addressing discrimination, family rejection, and social isolation.
