Arc System Works announces Blazblue: Central Fiction for PS5

Arc System Works has announced that the 2D fighting game Blazblue: Central Fiction is coming to PlayStation 5. The announcement was made during EVO France 2026.

The PS5 version will feature rollback netcode to provide smoother online matches by retroactively correcting frame discrepancies, aiming to mimic a local gameplay experience. Additionally, the title will support cross-play with the PC Steam version to unify the player base.

Other updates include the addition of four new subtitle languages—French, Italian, German, and Spanish—for the story and other modes, as well as improved training mode tools. The release of ‘Trinity Glassfille’ is expected to occur on a different date than the PS5 version and the language update.
