Arc System Works to open new Tokyo studio in 2026

Arc System Works has announced the opening of a new development base, ARC SYSTEM WORKS TOKYO STUDIO 'TAKUMI', in Shinjuku, Tokyo, scheduled for November 2, 2026.

The establishment of this studio aims to strengthen the company's overall development capabilities. A primary focus will be the development of a new fighting game IP, which has been selected for the 'IP360' project—an initiative by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry designed to support the growth of Japanese content industries and increase overseas sales.

Beyond game development, the company envisions the studio functioning as a 'global collaboration hub' to facilitate international engagement. In conjunction with the studio's opening, Arc System Works is actively recruiting initial creative members, including roles for programmers, 3D animators, 3D modelers, and project managers.
